Don't want to cause any consternation...but I always worry and spend a little extra time when a plug "has lost its gap"...one of the reasons among others that this happens in impact...just recommending caution...

Mine did the same thing but for #10. I removed the battery cable, cleared the code, re installed the VEC card/tune and all has been fine since.
Note: I had been cleaning the motor before this hapened, so I believe I either got something wet or knocked it loose!!

Yes Kyle, I believe the tuning is different for the VEC III. I am thinking about ordering the harness and moving mine into the cab. :dontknow:kyle's srt10 said:Got out in the truck today and the CEL came on again and guess what P0307I don't know what the heck is going on.. I noticed when I poped the hood to check the vec out it was extremly hot..Hot enough that I could not touch it.. Is it made to withstand the heat under the hood in the summer time:dontknow: I am thinking about sending it to have it upgraded to the III. Will I have to have it retuned for the vec III?
