Right now every day is a decision to keep moving forward. So every day takes motivation to make that step. I have several "fuels" that I use. The best and first fuel is my daughter. The second is the VTCOA and all that it entails. In my life the VTCOA is having a very real and personal impact. I can hardly wait to meet more of the folks that have touched me in such a real way. I want to take a tour to other GTG when health and time permit. That is a longer term goal.

Whaling Days happens that same weekend in Silverdale. It is within walking distance of Eric's place. There will be lots available to do.

Woulda been better if the hydro races out here were that weekend. We're right in front of the south turn. The noise of big inch V8's echoing across the bay would have been sweet!.

my situation is unsure @ best...... i've asked for the time off for all three days, but things are a bit shakey @ work. my company may extend our contract or close our plant because of this crappy economy..... if we stay open, i may have to cancel my vacation plans if work requires it..... unfortunately, this also leaves me with not making any room reservations because of the uncertainty..... worst case, if i don't loose my job, is that i may only be able to come up for saturday because the rooms @ the hotel are all booked up......
