has anyone ever installed one on the stock leaf suspension?
It just keeps the rear diff from moving side to side. Usually don't need them with a solid axle & lief spring suspension. You could put one on but it would most likely just be deadweight. If you looking for traction that Caltrack kit looks like the way to go.
I have caltracts. I feel the rear end sways from side to side just a little at high speeds. I Wana tighten it up.
The best traction mod is to remove the slapper bar
I would think one of the after market rear sway bars would do better. Forget off hand who makes it. It's thicker than stock with poly bushings. Would recommend checking the whole suspension front & rear for worn or loose parts first.

If you replace all of the Rubber Bushings with Poly Bushings you should see a Huge reduction in the side to side swaying.
If you install a Panhard bar with a leaf spring rear suspension set up, it will bind up the suspension.
never had that issue with my qc and have owned it since brand new in 05
Watts Link???
I think a pan hard would be fine, not like our suspension has much travel to bind up anyway
That's what I was going to say..
A pan hard bar can't work with leaf springs when moving up and down. You would be forcing the rear end to travel laterally against the spring bushings every time you hit a bump.
