Aloha from Maui..

When I step on the gas my engine feels like it's not getting any fuel, and the power comes on slow and uneven...I have the Paxton 2000 system and the SC was just rebuilt and blow-off valve replaced..

any ideas? Maybe the fuel pumps aren't kicking in?
What can I check to try and find the problem....

Mahalo from Maui:confused:

HI,i had problems with mine, belt slip and poor electrical connections, there was a lot of misfire with the electrical fault.Hope this helps bud.:dontknow:

What gauges are you running? You could tell alot with a boost or an a/f gauge.

Exactly.

You need to know more about what your engine is doing. Without being able to monitor air-fuel ratios, boost, and fuel pressure, it's impossible to say.

Belt slippage is an issue on the Paxton, as mentioned above. There may also be issues with the Split Second box not functioning properly, and it might also be helpful to know if you've had your ECU flashed with a blower-friendly program.

no power

Aloha...
boost is 5 lbs.,
plenty of fuel pressure...
but we heard a rattling inside the pipe where the new high flow Magnaflow 300 cell cat is...

think maybe it blew..or is falling apart.....will check it out next week

that was the original issue that caused the problem..
is there anything that could be blowing out cats?????

Leaded race fuel or additives containing lead can kill them.
