Is the computer physically the same for both trucks? Can a RC PCM be flashed to work in a QC?

Thanks in advance.

No. I think you'll need something with the qc regarding the tranny shifts. The RC doesnt have that. Why risk it?

No, they both are different pcms because of the manual and automotive transmission.

I understand that they do different things. I thought they may be the same physical computer with different info programmed on them. If that was the case, then I should have been able to get the QC flash put on it. From the feed back here, it is not the case.

they are the same physical computer with additional programming on the QC.

Then I am betting that DC or X-metal can flash the program I need. I will give them a call and make sure that they write the entire thing not just the changes.

If you bought a used computor, it will need to be one that works with your model and year. Some years are different. If you make any changes other than the vin.............price is more than just a vin change. Discuss at length so there are no misundertandings.

The flash is awesome dude. I love mine.

I thought I confirmed it will not work:D

You confirmed that DC has 2 part numbers. I was just following up with a call to the vendors. Thanks for the help.

Well then, does anyone need an "04 RC (Not an RC cola Stinker:D ) PCM ?
I am letting it go cheap! I had a blower flash on it but i am in the process of figuring what direction I am going with my truck(motor has a bad #4 piston), so I dont need it. Pm me if you want a smokin deal.
