pics of bump steer kit installed

thats exactly what mine looks like except for the colors, looking for close up installed pics to verify what I'm doing cause it doesn't seem to fit

they are a tight fit and may require some help from a hammer to get them thru the knuckle, but then again you wouldn't want them to "drop" in either

the bolt goes from the ttop down, yes they are tight, usually extremely tight
when you get the stud in the spindle top down, then the sleeve goes on the bottom half, then the spacers and the joint , then the nut, tightening the nutt will aslo pull the stud thru, not getting it snug and tight will cause it to oval out the spindle and or break, so make sure its fully seated, and tight, you will know when its tight, and fully seated,
all knuckles seemed to be different so he made them tight, some with a lot of miles had more wear, newer, less wear, so we had to meet in the middle on size, you can take and file out the lower section some, but usually it will pull thru nicely when tightening,

drive a few miles, recheck, recheck again after 100 miles , then 500 miles , then every oil change

Last time I tightened mine I diddent need to even hold the link on top with the wrench to keep it from spinning.

the bottom nut has what looks like a nylon lock insert in it so i'm hoping it does back out at all, read somewhere about people using larger washers to capture joint if it fails with wear over time, would a large washer AND a lock washer stop it from getting loose??

I have yet to install my Bumpsteer kit.

I also own one of the "infamous" 6-spd Quad Cabs ;)

Pics in my build thread.
