Got the grille form a local dealer....just the black honeycomb...easy install no hassel and looks better than stock so it'll do.

The rims are 17X10" American Eagle Alloys. Got them for $130 a piece. They clear the rear calipers with out any grinding. Its close but they do not rub anywhere. "2nd pair of 17's I've fitted" They have a little more back spacing on them so they stick out a bit....looks kinda cool!

The tires are M&H Drag Radials 325/45R17. Took em for a little spin down to my favorite parking lot to do some burnouts. They cruise real nice at speed and traction seems to be purty damn good....we'll see at the track on Wednesday just how good! John at M&H was very helpful! They gave me a super forum discount as well! Thanks guys I'll let you know how they do!!:burnout:

Which ones ?
I have extra steel rims that the base 1500 uses and put those on to see....fit no problem...they're a 17x7 inch rim though...not wide enough, but 17's do fit.
I can get an American Eagle rim 17x10 for $90.00 bucks a piece new...so thats the route I'll be going along with the 325/45/17 M&H like above...looks like a good set-up.

Uh oh!

M&H Tires = Good News

I can't wait to see how your new combination works.....
This is something that has not been tried before, that I am aware of.

There are some that are running the 305X18 18" Nitto drag radial. The M&H is .3" wider and .78" shorter. I do not know the difference in compounds between the tires.
M&H's usually uses sticky compound in most of their tires.
This opens the door for many folks to get on "slicks" without having to go to a $300.00+ custom wheel.
I am sure John at M&H is waiting for the reports.
When do you think you will be able to get to the track?

I said that $20,000.00 ago...............

LMFAO

Your just getting started, you have a bad case of MaddModders disease, and a need for speed.
I have had this condition for 45 years and it just gets more intense with time.

All right guys.....

1) the '04 and '05 rear brakes are the same only the fronts are different....

2) Wait until we get some reports on this set up before everyone jumps....great opportunity for some free R&D...

3) these are too short for modded QCs that can run faster than 112 or so mph

4) Trainman pulled a killer 60' with the 390 size of this tire...

Since I just started my second sixpack... ;)

Anyone have the RPM results on these tires with 4.10's , and 4.56's ?

I should be trapping around 112 and dont want to be shifting into 5th.

My HP is the same at 6200 as it is at 5800 so can stay in it a little longer if necessary.
