I was getting pumped up about the Southeast gtg next week, and decided i would go test and tune Fri night. Then i remembered something. After getting frustrated at the lousy track conditions i did a big burnout. Track official chewed me out for doing my burnout past the tree. I know it wasnt necessary but its fun and looks cool. Hell burning both rears through the 60 and letting off at the 330 at 60 mph had the whole crowd pumped up. He said i would pull up his rubber, I had another guy tell me not to even do a burnout on my pirelli's that they dont get softer and stickier with a burnout!?
Is there any truth to this. Should i just roll my tires over to get the dust off. I noticed the bigger burnouts i did this higher i could tack on my launch without bogging or spinning.
Im just confused
