plasti dip

Lol as long as I never see your truck I think I caj live with it haha my buddy stole my last idea so im sticking with this one no matter what

I've plastidiped my spoiler, wheels and ram head on top of grill. It's been holding up pretty well. Ran it thru car washes many of times and no peels if you do it right. Home depot sells the cans for about 5 bucks. I highly recommend it.

I thought the spoiler was painted! So now you know its good.

I have 06 VW Jetta where a bunch of the clear is chipping off. Do I need to strip the rest before plastidip? Or is a good cleaning sufficient? I need to try something because those rims are trashed. There is some loose clear that I will scrape first. And from what I am reading, you just do it in place? I figured you would remove them.

I think it depends on the color. When i used lime green every spec of dirt or blemish showed through. I guess if your using black and you do enough coats it will cover anything and look smooth. Make sure you follow the directions and "dust" on the first couple of coats. Don't go too think too quick.

The clear coat on my spoiler was peeling off. I just wet sanded the rough spots and cleaned it very good and then sprayed it with plasti dip.
