can he make the oil lins too? mine are leaking at the crimp. i looked at most of the trucks at x-metal gtg this weekend and several trucks have the same problem. replacement lines are about $200

ok...been working with this guy and it is not looking good. BUT, i was calling someone else on an entirely different matter and come to find out he builds gen 2 viper cars and plays with the viper trucks. He is located in St. pete and is supposed to show up at the gtg this weekend. He DOES make the s/s hoses, he IS interested in helping us out and he said the hoses will NOT be that expensive. I will keep everyone posted, and if anyone else is interested please add your name to the list.

the original guy i talked to thought the total price was going to run between 500 and 650. The new guy says this seems high. I told him i had between 10-15 people (maybe more) that are interested and i think we can drop the price further. He is going to call tomorrow and i will try and get him to commit to a price or at least get a close ball park figure. The good thing about the guy is he only works a dodge cars and trucks. 69 super bee to 2004 srt-10 truck, he owns a couple of gen 2 vipers as well. He has a couple of viper cars that are putting down 850-900 rwhp, and is liking the idea of playing with the trucks. He owns a 2004 BLACK truck, and i am hoping he will become a member/ possible vendor. Will talk more to him tomorrow and keep everyone posted on the progress.

just an update...the guy couldnt make the gtg, had some business to take care of, but he is still interested in making these...i will be talking to him either tomorrow or thursday...will keep you updated...the cool thing is, this guy has an 04 so the pattern for the hoses should be easy...i am assuming that 04 and 05 are similar if not identical....i might need someone in the st pete area to let him measure the hoses for a quad cab so he can get the trans lines? i am assuming all quads have tranny coolers? anyways will keep you updated
