Alright lately my brakes have been squeaking like no tomorrow...not just a little squeak, they squeal like a pig..sounds like a train trying to stop...get the picture
I was in South Beach today and was embarrassed to even be down there with my truck squealing like that...I know they're performance brakes but my God that is too much...they mainly do it at slow stopping speeds and light braking...also a lot more noisy and frequent when they're hot...I experimented with different pressures applied and it goes from light squeak to full on squeal..noticed also that I sometime get squeak from different sides at different pressures
My brakes are pretty much new still and the rotors seem fine...I am looking if someone knows how to do an at home fix? I know I can go out and buy new brakes but like I said these are pretty much new and right now I don't want to be buying new brakes again just to trash these...
Stinker posted in a thread about sanding and cleaning but I can not find the thread anymore. Can anyone please tell me how to bring the squealing down? I am a DIY'er so i just need suggestions or techniques on how to solve this...
Thanks in advance!
