Oldcolt and I got back from "Mopars at The Strip" in Vegas over the weekend. My buddy was running his 1966 440 Coronet, in Pro.
Considering the engine had zero break-in miles, it ran well.

There were ZERO SRT-10 trucks and only ONE Viper car running in the Viper class. Maybe the economy..??..

That is pretty bad. If i were closer I would definatly go. After all, it is Vegas.

I know, I was hoping to meet up with a few of the forum guys...
But what an amazing facility.. Great d.a. too (under 1800 feet for a while on Sunday morning) until the fighter jets flew over and mixed up that desert air. ;)

Was a good trip Ron?

Yes, well, except it sort of snowed for a while on Saturday and they shut down for 3/4 hour or so.
Lots of great cars (old and new) and it was great to talk to the guys from Indy, Edelbrock and a bunch of others.

Grabbed a wheels-up 10.7 @ just a tick under 124 (through the 'muffs) with the Coronet, which is a bit shy of it's normal 10.6 @ 126 but we'll get to the dyno here right away and get back the 30 or so horsepower that is hiding in there. Just guessed on the jetting on the Dominator and timing before we left. The 4600 stall in the 3800+ pounder kept the drag radials "busy".

We got bent over for a cab ride; and a truly average omelet at an I-Hop, but we had lots of fun.. :)

Not bad for a guess tune.

How has your dealings been with Indy? Russ is a asshole, he needs to lock himself in the basement and never be allowed to talk to the public.
