Ported heads for sale

Hey All,

I know I just bought these heads and I haven't even been home to see or unpack them yet but I've decided to sell the heads I bought from Roger on this site. I'll be attending some training and PCS'ing (moving) to a new job when I get home so I don't really have time to install these.

Price is $2,400 shipped to the lower 48 states via Fed Ex.

Good deal! Damn The previous owner sold em for 3800 didn't even open the box now you have them and your not even opening the box either!Man I wish I had the $$$$!
 
Roger gave me a deal on these so I'm passing it along. Under different circumstances, I'd love to keep and install them but things change.
 
I don't think so. I opened the boxes today looking for paperwork and didn't see any. Ill call marty tomorrow and ask if he has numbers.
 
I just spoke to Marty and he does not have flow numbers. I unpacked the heads and they look great. Id post pics but I don't have my computer right now. if anyone knows how I can send pics via my iPhone, I could send some that way.

Yes sir. Valves, performance springs, titanium retainers....all brand new. Verified by Marty this morning. He said they were good for "up to" 80 hp.

Reduced price $100 but added half paypal fees since I'm already losing $300 on these.
 
Best of luck man....I think the killer on these is that no one seems to have "documented" any gains for these heads. They should have been flowed, it's amazing what a piece of paper is worth to HP enthusiasts.

I agree with Wes, without the flow numbers documented you will be hard pressed to sell them for that price. Sorry. :dontknow:

Someone here just sold their Rolling Thunder heads Stage 4 with Crowers 1.7's spacers and other goodies for $2,600.

True...those were great heads for a great price but as mentioned in 505's original post, they would require ALOT more mods. And I understand (now) that documented flow numbers would help but I'm not going to go through the expense of having the numbers done when I'm already losing money on these.

I believe this is an amazing price on a set of heads done up by a reputable vendor on this site. I believe this is what you'd pay to do these yourself:

- $500 for set of used heads (or take yours off and have the truck down for about a month)
- $1,700 for the porting and valve job
- $200 for titanium retainer upgrade
- $200 shipping both ways

So, in essence, someone is getting (at least) $2,600 heads for $2,100. I'm just trying to pass on a good deal given to me by another forum member but I'm certainly not going to give them away. I'd rather keep them and make end tables out of them. :D
