POWER STEERING LINE ?

Scott, first check to see if the cap has vibrated loose...It has twice on my truck.

Second, get some brake clearner in a spray bottle...clean everything...wipe everything down...then start the truck and see if you can find the leak point...check the nipples from the power steering rack very closely...I had a crack about one inch into the power steering rack...not the lines...as a matter of fact it did not start leaking until I put the Stinker lines on...the new lines do not reach as far into the steering rack as the old connections...

Thanks Roy!!

Well, I know it's not the cap, because I had to remove it to check the fluid level. (It was low.)

I will probably have to wait until I get home to check the rest. Unfortunately, I am on the road still. So, I will go buy a bottle of fluid, and just keep it full until I get home.

Thanks again!

Stop by the house on the way home, we can check it out together.

I too in the last week was told my line are leaking, along with my oil cooler lines.
Could you PM the going price for both sets?
Its two lines for each correct?

Yes, 2 lines for each.

talked to Scott he should be fine:)

for those checking for leaks, can clean the area, dry it off completly, then use baby powder or the spray powder for athletes feet, comes out white,
coat the area well, and it should show the point at where the leak is comming from

That's okay after you get out of the shower, but how can I tell where the leak is on the truck??? :D
