Has anyone used the power stop brake rotors and pads from rockauto? Im ordering MOOG hub and bearing assemblies for both my fronts, and my pads are getting pretty low, so i may just order new pads and rotors as well and do it all at once. They have a package deal of the power stop rotors and z16 ceramic scortched pads for $251.79. Anyone tried this? Good bite? Low dust? Any input on these. I know the EBC greens are the way to go, but this seems like a good price, so i am just curious about this.

I bought these for my wifes jeep and what a differance. great upgrade. i would hope they would be even better on a 10.

i had the vented rotors and ebc reds up front.

i warped them on a few mountain roads after a few months, but if you aren't trying to drive a fat pig like a lotus, they'd be great!

in the city, the initial bite was less touchy than the oem, but i really liked them...

I went with regular blank rotors from rockauto- new calipers and ebc greens. Everything is peachy except I get this weird clunking whenever I press the brake at low low speeds. Like the pads are shifting or something.

I get that clunking too, usually at the first stop sign after I back out of my driveway. Just the pads moving forward a little.

Don't we receive a club discount with them?

Not sure, but if we do, id love to know how to get it. I sis see some kind of 5% off discount code, but i dont seem to see anywhere to enter it to get the discount. I even went almost all the way through to checkout.

I ordered some no name OEM style rotors and the cheapest pads I could find just to see if it made a difference (this was last month) and Im glad I did because it is exactly the same lol. Actually, these cheap pads are less dusty than the ones before. I think the pads are called DASH-4….Then on the rear I put severe duty ceramics that will probably last the life of the truck. I guess if you just drive normal it wont matter much, but if I ever went on a mountain run or a road course I would change these cheapos out

I guess, and this is a big guess, you could put a small piece of metal in the negative space between the pad and the caliper to keep it from doing that. But then you have to consider room for expansion, proper wear, and of course that piece of metal falling out and tearing your brakes up. Mine only does it in the morning when I reverse and then hit the first stop sign on my road, thus grabbing the pads and pulling them forward.

Mine will do it every time I go forward or backward under 10mph or so.
Something springy would be better than just some metal jammed in there I think.
