Powerlifting

I agree 100%, good call on the projected max's for the squat and bench. Looks like you had 50 lbs left in the tank for the deadlift!

615x1 with the stiff bar. Since my meet, I've done pretty much everything beltless (besides this) and with the stiff bar. I wasnt planning on maxing out since I'm only halfway through this program, but I was feeling pretty good

Pulled 640 off of 3" blocks. I've always sucked at pulling from blocks so this was a huge pr for me. I can never seem to get the bar speed like when I pull from the floor or deficits

Nice work! Which program are you running?

thanks man! I've done a modified version of ed coans deadlift program. The guy coaching me changed a few things to work on my weak points. I've loved it so far and i did most of it sumo so its helped my squat a lot too. I had my girlfriend do the regular version of the program and shes put 25 lbs on her DL

Mr. Coan's program was usually based on a 12 week progression, right? Are you doing any sort of deload? Everything I've read/heard talked about Ed taking 24-26 weeks a year to focus on hypertrophy & work capacity.

this is the 10 week program that I'm using basically: Tsampa.org: Coan-Phillipi 10 Week Deadlift Routine

I've taken a lot from Ed's other programs and started doing more hypertrophy work on my bench and squat days too. The best thing i've noticed, is that i stopped getting tendonitis since I added back in the hypertrophy work and my hips are much more mobile for squatting and pulling

My buddy micah finally broke the 181 all time deadlift record. He pulled 795 this past weekend and got the 3rd highest MP all time total at 181 with 2190. He went for 805 for his third and almost had it locked out but fell forward
