Prayers for me

Is this over giving me the Ban Button???:D:D:D

Keep the Faith Brother!:D

Well...I got some light @ the end of the tunnel.

I have been at the company I am at for over 3 years, and I decided to take a 'leap of faith' and move-on, opening up my own business. I never have been one to 'back-stab' or ruin a relationship with any employer, and I really wanted to leave on good terms. I Told the owner that I (the highest profit department, practically holding the company together) am going to attempt something never done before, and start my own company. I would be leaving the security of a salary stable position, for the opportunity of a lifetime. He took it well, but wants to 'negotiate' with me on Wednesday about possibly staying, or part-time with the company. For a man who is quite stubborn and sometimes very cold-hearted, prayers went SOOOO far! I though he was going to throw me out of the conference room, and tell me to pound sand; but instead he was so agreeable and willing to really work out some plans!

Thank you all....knowing him for 3 years, this was not his normal personality. He was so sincere ! Thanks for all the Prayers from everyone!

Till Wednesday!!

Be very careful.... All is fair in War and "Business".... Still be prepared for the worse. (Sorry to be a buzz-kill  ). Just because you had a "good" talk with the boss, doesn't mean everything is "peachy". ;) He could be biding his time, so to speak, until he can get his position together. Business owners that have been scorned, or "threatened", can be like Pit-Bulls... they will turn on you in a HEART-BEAT.

You've been WARNED......

But, NEVER DOUBT that you have made the BEST decision in your life, Patrick. The best way to your legacy is on your own. It is back-breaking, no-sleep, HARD work... You will work harder than you EVER have, owning your own business. It's a constant battle..... But, there is no better reward. That reward is FREEDOM to do things how YOU want to do them.

Good luck, my friend. :)

Words of wisdom.

Good luck again Patrick. As was said before. There will be some sleepless nights wondering if you've made the right decision and waiting for the phone to ring can be pure torture. I left IBM 10 years ago to start my own business an I'm still glad I did. One simple rule. Treat other the way you want to be treated and you can't go wrong. Ang look out for the taxes. They'll blind side you.

Great things happen to great people Patrick!! Our prayers are always with you. Good luck in what ever happens, and don't give up on your dreams. Retiring from the Air Force was the scariest decision I've ever made, but life has a way of working itself out.
You'll do great things Patrick...

Good luck and check six.
