UPDATE

They're slowly taking him off of the drugs that have been keeping his heart pumping. So far, so good. He's been moving his thumb a bit, and they can tell by the machines/vitals that he can hear when my dad talks to him. Encouraging news...

Update:

He's continuing to progress as well as can be expected. He's wide awake... aparently too much so. He's pretty pissed off because of the tubes and shit that are in his throat, and his hands are restrained. I'm sure I'd be pissed too They're going to mildly sedate him so he'll chill out a bit, and hopefully have him off of the respirator soon.

Thank you all so much for the thoughts and prayers. There may be some BS and bickering that goes on around here, but when there's a member in need... wheather it be a f**ked up truck or an ill family member... everybody comes together and stands beside that member. That is what makes this place so great:rock: Thanks guys.

My grandfather got home from the hospital yesterday!:rock: He's up and walking around with one of those walkers with the tennis balls on the feet

In the hospital from 4 Feb-21 May...talk about a long haul, but he made it!
