process of changing locks

Can any1 tell me the process of changing locks on trucks... its not my 10 but my 02 lost keys and thought bout changing locks just to be safe...

For what it would cost changing locks, insurance is cheaper. Dealer can get you a key code and have a key made.

and then having the dealer delete the 2 keys you lost and then your truck cant be started.
