Yeah.. those are the worst kind... they have hooks into everything... and in places that you dont know about.

It would be best to hire a security consulting company to come and do a controls and security check, and make sure that he has no back doors when they shiet-can him. It would be worth the 10-15k they have to spend to do the audit... for nothing more than the peace of mind.
