what a nightmare !! it took me and a buddy almost 9 hours in total to put them on , that includes a trip to a shop to shorten the driver side pipe about 1 1/2 inches . we were working too with air power tools . the famous 6 bolts came off in 5 minutes :D ...really , what took time was putting on one of the sensors and wrestling with the long pipe for 2 hours before discovering it was too long

Anyway after a good night sleep , i went on a drive today and it is definatley louder and faster . but it has a ton of leaks so will drop by the exhaust shop for some clamp tightening and welding

Did your CEL come on? I recently put catless mids on and i've had nothing but problems with my drivers side upstream O2 sensor. I have gone through three of them with, I dont know what the hell is wrong:dontknow:

they are xmetal mids , i think if the driver's side pipes are shorter by 1.5 inches from the get go , things would have been much easier

no i dont have any problems , if you are burning up sensors i am sure its the sensor or wiring touching the car body , had this issue on my evo . is it burning a fuse too ??

I though mine were made wrong, but they went on opposite sides(crossover) and went on great. I have had a leak for 5 months. But my headers & Magnaflow are going on next month!!!!!

No O2 porbs for me.

Where are you guys getting leaks and how the hell can you tell. The truck is so damned loud now I dont think I'd even be able to hear a leak if there were one.

If they are leaking you would have the flappy sound coming from under the truck. You can really tell when your pulling into your garage or driving slowly next to a wall. I hate that sound!!!

mine took half that time and that included a magnaflow exhaust that i had to weld the hangers on for my 06,u will be able to see exactly where ur exhaust is leaking because u will find resin from the exhaust on the pipes where its coming out from.

if the lenght was right i think it can be done in 4 hours

i had my buddy block the exhaust flow at the tail pipes with a big rag for a second while i was under the truck , the sound was very evident

I checked, the wires are not touching any where. When I take off in first gear and just cruise it feels like my truck isnt getting enough fuel. I dont know how to explain it.
