Question for California folks

After my daughters wedding this summer, I'm planning on heading down to San Luis Obisbo and then heading North on HWY 1. I know they had some sections of the road washed out a few years ago. Were they repaired or do you have to take a bunch of detours? :dontknow:

It's PCH in So Cal - after that you can call it rt1. San Luis Obispo is a couple hundred miles North of Nowwhat (Malibu) - good try though

SLO and Pismo are beautiful. Don't forget about Hurst Castle and stop by to see the glass blowing shops. Freakin amazing work that they do.
