question to ponder

they can come after me if they want, but I will not ship unless I know they are gonna be ok, and i hope they understand that, especially anderson, his will ship painted ..............against my better judgement, and I do think jeremey will end up regretting it;)
been in the trucking biz waaaayyyy too long

LOL...just theories here stink.....I am running out of steam here but this is stuff I love to debate....but must go to bed...:slug:

mee too, got a ton to do tommorrow, and find something, but think on it when you go to bed, you get to the end of our universe, then there is another.......

infinity........................for some reason I jsut cant comprehend it......

we understand things have an end........at the end of that thing there is another side..........so then does it end?

Since infinity is a never ending concept, it has no end or other side. They universe is (theoritically) expanding at the speed of light. So, we may have an end or other side of what we can see or comprehend. But since it is expanding so rapidly, the "other side" is somewhere else by the time one can specify its position.

So, theoretically (again) the answer is "yes" there is an "other side" to finite things, but not to things which are inifinte in nature.... Like the universe.

After all, the universe is everything.... And, as the brothers say, "Evathang is evathang..."

Peace, stoners....

There are three fundamental principles that need to be accepted before the nature of the universe can be addressed:

Universality: This is the most basic assumption, some books even do not include it as one of the principles. We assume that the physical laws we discovered on or near the Earth can be applied to anywhere in the universe. Would it be false, we can talk no more about physical astronomy. Studying the properties of stars and galaxies far away confirms this assumption.

Homogeneity: The principle of homogeneity says that the distribution of matter does not vary with position. Most of the mass of our solar system concentrates at the Sun; most stars in our Galaxy are on the galactic plane.

Isotropy: Principle of isotropy says that the universe looks roughly the same in every direction. Isotropy is independent of homogeneity. The universe can be homogeneous but non-isotropic or vice versa.

With these three concepts in mind, Steven Wright asks:

"If your car could travel at the speed of light, would your headlights work?"

Here's one for you Stinker.

If someone is standing on your left side facing you and looking at your left ear, what is on the other side?;) :D

I understand that, but when you look in the sky at night, the nearsest star is light years away, and beyond it another, beyond it another, so does it end?

if so what is on the other side of it, as we understand things, there is almost allways another side, so if there is another side, it dont really end correct:D

nope , dont do dope:p
Bunch of assholes looking in our cage laughing at us for wondering whats on the other side:D

Yes, and they would project light unless the car started traveling at light speed at the same time the headlights were turned on but even so they would still work.

Carrying this discussion in the exact opposite direction (The “String” cut in half Theory):

If the Universe is expanding then it must have been smaller than it is a year ago. Carried to the extreme as you go backward in time the Universe gets smaller and smaller. This would mean that at some point in time (approximately 14-15 Billion years ago) the Universe was smaller than a single element of an atom. This is the point in time prior to the “Big Bang” that released / created all matter in the Universe (According to Current Scientific Theory / Belief).

So, where did the matter originally come from and what caused it to go “Bang”?

We attempt to explain them in a way our “Limited” mentality can understand and comprehend. That does not mean that it is right or wrong it is simply a way that we can “Grasp” on to the concept or thought. That concept or thought will be reality until someone can explain it in a more rational way, then reality changes.

If it truly is reality then how can it change?

There are about 20 more points to bring up in this discussion which would take two lifetimes to discuss much less resolve.

Some questions simply can not be answered.

if there is a beginnin, there is an end.

if one believes in infinite bigness. then one would also believe in infinite smallness.

it would not surprise me if we are in a pimple on some big faukkers butt

:dontknow:  :marchmellow:

And what then is the speed of dark?

Dark speed is equal to light speed one can not be faster or slower than the other. We really need the ability to travel past the speed of light to test all theories so im going to go fix the Hemi. :D

Ever wonder what fish in a fish tank are thinking go back and read the complete thread then you will have an idea.

YOU GOING TO HAVE TO GO THREW MY HEMI FIRST:D

Our galaxy is spining at 134 mph per second..............there are billions of galaxy's...........they have not found the end or other side yet.........

No they wouldn't because physics says that the speed of light is constant no matter what reference frame you are looking at it from. So if your reference frame is the a car moving the speed of light then when you turn on the headlights the light would be traveling at the same speed as your car so they would never reach the eyes of the person looking.
