Questioning legality of red-light cameras

More Red Light Cameras the better... Every light should have them... along with Red Light spike strips lol.. Need to keep those bastards from running the Reds and killing the innocent.

i run red lights for a living. if i have a 300,000LB truck behind me, i will not be stopping. one night in NYC i ran no less then 20 lights, half had speed cameras, got no tickets? odd. on police escorted moves, both me and the cop have sirens blaring as we stop traffic at every light. ticket me for that bitches, and FYI to all you grey head drivers, red lights mean stop, regardless of what you stupid old people think.
talk about un-safe, old people are the worst drivers on the road. always in a hurry, no regard for others safety, very aggressive. there needs to be an age cap. somewhere about 60. second worse drivers on the road? women on cellphones.
its odd, before i started doing this job i though young kids would be the worse ones, oddly enough they just get scared, move over and stop.
i had one 80 year old woman go past my car in a zig-zag move. each time i put my car in front of her, she would go around it. i had to get out of my car and explain to her confused, wrinkled ass that she needed to stop.....

Thanks ! I will vicariously enjoy the "ass chewing" some jerk richly deserves. Lets hope they don't hurt someone before you can get to them.
PS. The average cost of the vehicles I insure (because of my driving record), and accident free discounts, is 800/year, yes, that's right full 100/300 with collision, in NY!. 800 per year, per vehicle (I insure 4). (Geico)

They have discontinued traffic light cameras in Ak, I'm not sure why.

P.S. my insurence less than $1400 a year for my truck and my Bimmer - AIG.

I wish they had red light camara's in OKC.

The news station here did a piece on it, and showed how many accidents have happened here because of "red llight runners".

I found I am become a safer driver from riding my motorcycle; your constantly having to watch everything around you, ahead of you, behind you, people not paying attention because they are busy talking on the phone, not stopping all the way at stop signs, and Especially at lights!!
There's usually no second chances when someone runs one.
If someone is following too close to me, I will depress my brake enough for the light to come on, but not grab. They usually will back off and give me some space.

This is WHY

Someone was telling me they went through a green light and saw a camera flash, Being curious he went around the block, And went through the light again on the green, Got flashed again. Said these freakin camera lights are messed up, And went on his way. About a month later he got 2 tickets for no seat belt.

On my bike I switched out the turn signals to be dual color LEDs. The outer chevron shape is amber and act as turn signals. The inner part of the light is red and activates with the stop tail lights. I've also installed a flasher that flashes the stop tail lights about ten times and then goes solid red. It's a real eye catcher and that's what you need when soccer mom is talking on the phone with the kids screaming in the back seat.

Here they did a study at the intercections with cameras, the accident rate went UP. This because people are slamming on the brakes on yellow and then getting rearended.

I'm not worried about me stopping at it. It's the cross traffic and the person behind me that has me worried.

I got a flasher like this. It's adjustable with how many flashes and how quick it flashes. I'll have to do some research to find out where I got the dual colored turn signals.
