I lost a great friend today in a motorcycle accident.
It was too shocking to even comprehend what I had just heard. As I was piecing together the news from internet searches and what wasn't being said by friends because of how much pain was behind it.... this just couldn't be the same guy I knew.
I had worked with the guy for over 5 years. And during which, he helped me grow into the person I am today. He took me in and helped me on my feet and showed me the ropes of standing my own ground, seeing life is what you make it and that it's not full of wrong and right choices, but just choices I made. Which means a lot when I came from a messed up childhood.
We all have problems we face everyday, some of it we are open with and others we keep to ourselves. Never take friends or family for granted, because just like today, you may not ever see them again.
He was given a reading from a fortune teller that he would have everything he wanted before he turns 35.. he's now with his mother. I hope his family makes it through this tough time and remains safe and not do anything crazy. Because I felt like doing something.
He was a biker, lived by it. Was his passion. A big guy, and heart. He would give the shirt off his back for you if you needed it..
...
No feeling is as weird as the feeling of death in the air, especially when it's someone close. No amount of screaming rage will make it feel any better...
I'll be drinking to him, he was like a big brother to me.
This one's for you Big D.:beerglass::beerglass:
