I lost a great friend today in a motorcycle accident.

It was too shocking to even comprehend what I had just heard. As I was piecing together the news from internet searches and what wasn't being said by friends because of how much pain was behind it.... this just couldn't be the same guy I knew.

I had worked with the guy for over 5 years. And during which, he helped me grow into the person I am today. He took me in and helped me on my feet and showed me the ropes of standing my own ground, seeing life is what you make it and that it's not full of wrong and right choices, but just choices I made. Which means a lot when I came from a messed up childhood.

We all have problems we face everyday, some of it we are open with and others we keep to ourselves. Never take friends or family for granted, because just like today, you may not ever see them again.

He was given a reading from a fortune teller that he would have everything he wanted before he turns 35.. he's now with his mother. I hope his family makes it through this tough time and remains safe and not do anything crazy. Because I felt like doing something.

He was a biker, lived by it. Was his passion. A big guy, and heart. He would give the shirt off his back for you if you needed it..

...

No feeling is as weird as the feeling of death in the air, especially when it's someone close. No amount of screaming rage will make it feel any better...

I'll be drinking to him, he was like a big brother to me.

This one's for you Big D.:beerglass::beerglass:

So very sorry for your loss. Prayers sent for his family.

seemed like a great guy, you were lucky to have known him.....remember to stay strong, he would've wanted it that way. sorry for your loss.

I didn’t know Big D but he sounds like a great individual. One thing that cannot be denied is that death is (in every case) very much a part of life. How and when it comes is simply the unknown factor. I certainly isn’t easy to swallow the passing of someone close to us no matter the cause; be it accidental or natural. If it makes you feel any better Jaced, whatever his missions and accomplishments were during his time here, one of them clearly was to help you develop into the person you are today. THAT plan came from high up and it was something he was charged with fulfilling, and he did it. I think you ought to honor him and his memory by living your life righteously. Be good to yourself and others. Always remember and help others who may be in need if you can, as Big D has helped you. Please don’t do anything crazy bro. I am certain he wouldn’t want that for you. The screaming and rage can be a stress reliever, but it won’t bring him back. It will leave you tired and helpless. Unfortunately it was in the script for his sun to set. Yours is still bright illuminating the path to a future for you and your mission(s). May Big D live on through you and your good deeds.
