Well, the time has finally came. he's been with us 11 yrs. The best dog ive ever had always at the end of the driveway every afternoon to meet me and walks beside the truck to the house. his mom was a red dobie and lived 15 yrs. he was the runt of the litter. epitomy of a southern gentleman. just wanted ya'll to see him one last time.

Damn man, sorry to hear that. Its hard to loose a pet thats a part of your life for so long. At least he enjoyed life while he was here!

Cool Dobie. Dogs rule. Remember the good times. Sorry for your loss.

sorry to hear this Eddie, may he rest in peace with all the bones a dog could ever want.

Eddie I'm on my 3rd-set of Bull/Dogs...it never gets easy at the end.

Sorry for your lost,
Jerry

I'm sorry for the loss of your loved one....maybe you can find another one someday that will be as nice as Hercules was.:(

My thoughts go out to you guys in this difficult time. In some respects loosing a pet is worse than loosing a family member it seems...R.I.P. Hercules!!!

thanks guys he was a good dog, weve had dobies all our lives. his dad was my brothers dog who was the smartest dobie ive ever seen. sneakiest bastard too.dont know if ill get another one right away. got a year old great dane thats already about 180 lbs. that terrorizes the yard right now. she thinks she's about the size of a poodle.

really sorry to hear that. Dobbies are my favorite. grewup with a black and had to put her down when I was 15. i have a red dobbie now.. .can't imagine going through that again... hope you're doing well.

ill be fine, i just hate to have to break the news to my daughter this afternoon. she's a animal freak. we'd have a zoo if it was up to her.

Sorry for your loss. Putting a dog down is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.
