yeah I know it's a repost !!! I am lazy!!! santa is coming and he is bringing me a radar detector.I have been very lucky so far in not getting nailed.Looking for feedback on what works the best.Should I go concealed or maybe valentine:dontknow: :dontknow:

I have mine mounted stealth but removable. I have it hardwired and up at the top of the windshield in the tinted area right next to the rearview mirror. You can't see it or the wire from outside and you can still take it out when you want to.

I believe the tinted area will keep it from picking up a better signal.:dontknow:

I have a Val 1 and Bel Pro-XR950 and IMO the Bel leaves the Val 1 for dust.

Just so you know: RMR has the worst reputation in the biz.
