I noticed recently with the truck cold the hose was compressed, I put a new OEM hose ( top) on the truck and even with the spring inside its trying to compress and is for the first 4"? Whats up?

Replace the rad cap.

Your rubber cap gasket is probably stuck to the radiator neck. It's not letting the fluid move into and out of the recovery bottle. Just had a similar problem with my TJ Wrangler.
correct new cap worked like a charm...:rock:
