Looks like they used some rubber O-rings to hold it in place. Neat idea. Won't work on the three gauge pod. Not enough room. Why do I have a craving for some onion rings all of a sudden?:D

The O ring was used just to clean it up:D

What is the size to drill the hole? How do you take the gauge off? I would like to see the pics. Thanks.

Thanks Prof! I was thinking about getting the silver like yours. I thought it would match the silver trim in the cabin. How is the match?

Was it necessary to drill a hole in the side of the oil guage pod bezel to mount it? I'd like to keep my interior "reversable" to stock and not have to hack it up but if holes are necessary anyway I might just put a hole like 06__QUAD__SRT10 did and mount it that way.

I drilled a hole but stopped short of the gauge, and used a self tapping short screw. No way to disassemble my ride, it will have to go as is. I have heard of people mounting it with Velcro successfully.

The color match is very close, but the texture is different. I got the Blue led...they are very bright and you cannot miss them, day or night.

Good to hear about the silver. I will go with that one. I'll try the velcro first.

Thanks again!

Watch for a GTG at my house in the next few weeks...I will be in Florida for a while then off to Boomers at the end of the month, but we will GTG shortly after that.

You can also try the 3M body tape. I didn't want to put any holes in my pod and it's holding great.
