RC Rear Sway Bar on a QC, great mod!

I will post up later on how and what was done to accomplish this as I could find threads of only aftermarket rear sways. I am happy to say it was worth every bit of money(little) and every bit of time ( 30 minutes making brackets and welding to the frame)!! The Big Girl handles alot more like her little Vette brother now and it's awesome.:burnout: I still can't believe they wouldn't have done it from the get go on every QC whether SRT or not? The bigger, longer and heavier the truck, the more body roll..........so why no rear bar? The rear end shock and slapper bars woulda been nice as well.:mad:
I will take some pics soon and post pics of the brackets as well. I call it

What are the differences in rear swaybars between different Ram trucks????
 
To work best you need everything off the RC rear seat including links, axle brackets, bushings, and bolt plate. The bolt plate fits in factory drilled(empty till now) holes in the lower shock mount. The only brackets I fabbed were for the link mounts to the frame as the RC has them factory welded in place. I will attempt the write up tomorrow abs post pics in DIY.
 
A 3500 sway should work fine and I will check one out and measure the size as well as mounting issues. I would think they'd be thicker as the RC isn't really beefy. You do not want to much out back or a tailhappy 10 you'll have round the twisties. We have to find the right combo. So far the RC sway is great though and I live on twistie roads.

I'm looking for that right combo and ordered the Addco 1.5" solid front bar and Belltech 1.25" solid rear bar. They were both the biggest bars I could find. Stinker is getting them for me and I will be happy to report on both bars when they get here.
 
Is there a proper calculation method to figure out the perfect combination for street use for the QC's?????---WOT, your an engineer aren't you??.... Do you have a way to figure this out???... Then all we will need are the specs differences on the different types of sway bars to find the best one to use...
