look at the upside gentleman.....look what happen to lambo when audi bought them....they made them better, faster and more functional. Maybe a great company will purchase the Viper and make it into an ever better supercar. Think Positive

They could rebrand it as the Daytona


...... At least the motor would blow #3 cylinder anymore under boost.... Because it would have a supercharged 351 (GT motor) in it. :D But, that brings up another point. The Ford GT was a better car anyway, so why would they want the Viper? :dontknow:

Problem I see with it is a short term fix. Once you sell it then the enticement to get people to look at a Dodge is gone. No more bringing people in the door or associating a Dodge with a Viper. Never again can Chrysler use it as it a marketing tool, everything associated with it legally is gone. Yeah you get some short term money but then what? For a car company selling of your premier automobile is a death throe to me. I hope I am wrong but I think it is a bad move.

I agree they're pissing on their hardcore enthusiast customer base, which is always a no no...
