Wow that's a great story and great pics. Well done fitting that lot on/in there. Great find too. Good luck with the projectNot proud of this....but, drove 5hrs to purchase a 273 and transmission for a Dart project and after we loaded the engine and transmission the man asked if we wanted any thing else.... Of course, we wanted everything else! We loaded engine, transmission, heater box, steering column, leaf springs, k-member with all the suspension components, rear differential, rear bench seat, front bucket seats, 9 wheels and tires, and a box with all the mounts!!! Obviously, had we known all of this was here we would have brought a trailer! Once I realized what was happening as he began pulling the entire drivetrain out I tried renting a uhaul but everything was already closed. So we absolutely abused the truck for 6 and a half long hours... Not proud of it but we managed to load, make the drive, and unload without even a scuff! They are still Dodge trucks at their core!!

Good Grief, the only thing you don't have in the bed, is the kitchen sink, LOL! Gorgeous truck BTW. Before I bought the truck I have now, I had found a Red QC 2005 in North Charleston. I'm here in Savannah, and had planned to drive up there to buy it. The actual day I was to go buy it, the lot called me and told me it was sold. I was pissed because I didn't put down a deposit earlier in the week. So now I'm stuck with a black one, which isn't a problem, other than black shows up every single scratch, and damn hard to keep clean. Not proud of this....but, drove 5hrs to purchase a 273 and transmission for a Dart project and after we loaded the engine and transmission the man asked if we wanted any thing else.... Are those guys that dirty??I have made two loads to the county dump over the years..both times the county crew guys stop what the are doing and check out my ride and ask questions...naturally it got a wash as soon as I got home..
The only thing my truck has had in it since I bought it, is pine needles from the trees. Seems to be able to handle the weight of a dozen or so needles...LOL.Not proud of this....but, drove 5hrs to purchase a 273 and transmission for a Dart project and after we loaded the engine and transmission the man asked if we wanted any thing else.... Those needles yep....you've heard about the needle that broke the camels back....or was that a straw the needle stack was lost in...I dunno
All the same your truck is doin' a mighty fine job. And looking good at the same time!!
