Rear Cat Delete HP Gain??

Hi All,

How much HP/TQ can I expect to gain if I remove the rear cats? Anything I need to watch out for if I do this?

I have a 04 RC

You will need O2 sims or a tune from Torrie, that turns the rear sensor's off. If you don't, your check engine light will come on.

Shouldn't have any issues with just removing rear cats.

CA Members: Have you had an smog issues w/ deleting rear cats?

haven't had to smog it yet.

Gains are very noticeable.

If you get caught on the street without a cat. in Cali. I heard it's a $2500 fine per cat.

it's 5000.00 here but you would really have to rub a cop the wrong way to get that fine, most times they will issue you a repair order to fix exhaust.

Someone here cut the rear "cats" apart and found they were actually resonators...:dontknow:
