Got some parts back from Justin. Turn around time from florida to justin and back...1 week!! and the parts look great!
I had the box that Kevan made powdercoated, as well as all of the billet caps i got from 6pak. I also had the billet hood struts done as well. and of course everything was done in wrinkle black
I installed my meth controller to the top of the box, so i can open the lid and see the adjustments, and i installed a double magnet latch to the box.
Its been said over and over, and i am here to say it again...JMB Performance RAWKS!!!
I also installed the steering wheel insert i got from srt-11...i believe steve holden made these.
I also got around to doing some pre-wiring for the nitous, train horn etc... i mounted up some switches on the lower panel under the steering wheel. On the back side of the panel i installed a fuse block, so i have a place to access power without going through the firewall each time, didnt get a pic of it, but i will.
I forgot the picture, but i finally installed and hooked up the raptor shift light in the triple gauge pod...Thanks Steve Austin!
I installed the Hurst t-handle shifter as well...while i was at it, i had to run the wires down the shaft. i noticed that my shifter was a little loose so i went ahead and tighten the bolts....they were only in by less than 1/4" on each bolt!! wouldnt have been long and the damn thing would have come off in my hand...no wonder i was missing shifts...
I installed an auxillary fan on the front of the a/c condensor...mostly to hide the condensor which looks like ass, but i figured it cant hurt.
I seen at the last gtg in south florida a nail in my tire...wasnt leaking so i didnt worry about it...well over the weekend i figured i better go ahead and take care of it. I got the pliers out and pulled...basically just a nail head and maybe 1/8" of the shaft, just enough to let it stick in the tire...it was in the meat of the tread so no punture...sweet!
I also removed the plastic cover in front of the gauges on the dash...i made a piece to take its place out of smoked lexan (thanks Dennis)...didnt get a picture of that either, but i will.
Thats pretty much it...I still have front and rear Hawk brakes to install, X-metal shocks on all 4 corners (thanks again Justin) and she needs a good cleaning.
