there is a great vendor in AZ that can order you new calipers....:D ....they need to be repainted...

Dragon I had the same problem so when I shaved the rear calipers I went to autozone or advance one , cant remember and bought the caliper paint in a can with a brush. The kit sells for $15 or so.

I used it on the vette and my truck. And the vette has been done for aobut 6-8 months and still looks great. No problems with fading or chipping yet. It has ceramic properties in it. Just be sure to clean them very well.

hope this helps

hey nowwhat your truck is a tank......supertank! looks sweet with the smoke rolling off the back.

Hey dragon, try brakecaliperpaint.com or G2 high performance brake caliper refinishing kit. I the the Germans make the latter. Maybe Dr.Z has his hans (pun intended) in the paint. Hope this helps JQ

I had some Rustoleum crystal clear spray paint. I sprayed it into the can lid and then used a brush to apply it to the calipers. It brought the shine back and made them red again. Kinda like a clear coat. And they've stayed shiny. I very happy with the results for little moola.

No, but it hasn't seemed to be a problem. And they do have a couple thousand miles on them.

It's Duplicolor, and the stuff works great. Very high gloss and appears to be extremely durable. I did mine about 4 months ago and no problems.

i did a set on another car and it works, but i clearcoated mine after i put viper stickers on my truck and havent had any more problems. they clean up quicker too.

I did the same thing.

I'm glad I seen this thread, I was standing in the parts store looking at that caliper paint and I thought it wouldn't hold up too well...... Now I see it seems to hold up fine.

Rice Eater, Slotted rotors? Front and rear?

If you paint your calipers with a brush do they look good close up?
Pictures please.

The Duplicolor paint lays out just fine with a brush.
