 There is no "right or wrong". :p It's nice being ambidextrous. Left or right hand shifting? No worries. :D
I have a stupid question for you, on the right hand drive vehicles is the shift pattern the same as a left hand drive or is it opposite? I've always wondered that.

Hi, same shift pattern, same pedal locations, same drive lines, just different steering wheel/driver locations. :)

What do they do with the steering linkage? Is the rack just switched around?

Everything is completely swapped. They use as much of the OEM parts as possible and make the rest. Once they have made a model they use those parts for templates of other vehicles. Most of the trucks that come in from the USA are automatics so the RC SRT/10 Rams make things a little harder for them but nothing they can't handle, just takes a little longer. Not sue if you've seen, but below are some pictures of my RHD engine bay. Also, since you don't get to see it every day, here's a link to my website showing my RHD conversion, they sent the photos - www.carlwalski.com/Nightrunner2.html

How much weight do you think you'll be getting rid of in the cab? What else are you doing as far as weight reduction goes???

well as for weight just in the cab i can only guess as of now till i get it to the scale i want to say close to 200 pounds
no radio, no carpet, center console, etc.
as for the rest of the truck carbon fiber hood, already cut rear bumper off, no spare, light weight battery, lighter exhaust and some other stuff i rather not mention yey:D

Damn:rock: but ummm... why? Are you gonna leave it like this? or are you just going to see what differenct it makes on your 1/4 mile time? Whats the deal?:dontknow:

Ha ha, I was about to say you need to contact Carlwalski, he has gutted his liek 5 times.
