what a pain in the A$$... you must remove your rear axles do so. I had to replace 3 studs today...the 1500 Ram you dont have to, but the design on the SRT-10 you must...This Sucked... a 5 minute job turned out to be almost an hour and a half job.

Is there no way of slipping the new stud from behind? I'm sure taking the old stud out shouldn't be too much of a problem :dontknow:

You'd have thought they would have put a removal hole somewhere on the backing plate/housing to pass a stud through.

That sucks!

I agree, you would really think they would provide access threw a removal hole. Good luck!

YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW...I ORDERED NEW LUG NUTS FOR MY NEW RIMS...WELL 4 OF THE 20 WERE THE WRONG SIZE 14X1.5 INSTEAD OF 9/16-18...AND WERE IDENTICAL IN LOOK. SO THEY WENT ON WITH OUT AN ISSUE...I NEEDED TO REMOVE MY WHEELS AND CHECK SOMETHING AND THATS WHEN THEY STRIPPED..ONLY STRIPPED THE FIRST COUPLE THREADS..BUT COULDN'T USE THOSE STUDS LIKE THAT...GOOD THING IT HAPPENED AT WORK. OF COARSE ON A THURSDAY AFTERNOON, PAST THE ORDER TIME AND LOCATED OUT OF STATE. SO IT TOOK TILL WEDNESDAY TO COME IN.
