Anyone tried a right "A" pillar pod?

Sat in a Starbucks this morning...looked straight into the windshield of my truck and the left pillar pod with its three gauges needs to be balanced with a right pillar pod...

Any one know if one exists?

If you had one what gauges should I add? (my left pillar has boost, Air/fuel and oil temp).

Terrible pic, but it is 2:20 in the morning and it was cold in the garage in my skivies!

Carlwalski might have some good info on that.

very good James

Radar needs to be permanently mounted...I hate those suction cups...and the coiled cord...I would replace it with one that mounted in the front grill if I could find a good one.

By the way one of the reasons I still have that one is that it was the one
Woody had in his truck when things went very bad. RIP Woody.

just tint all your windows limo all around and then 35% on the windshield... no one will ever see in there from the front :D

if you really wanted you could get another driver side gauge pod and mold it on to the P/S then smooth it and paint it Black to match your truck :dontknow:
would take a lil work but would be a cool mod JMO

...and then you can get some symmetrical windshield wipers like an old 50's car.:D

Been thinking about just doing away with the wipers...don't even know if they work:dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

Got the tint part...but the second part of your message is a little tough to decipher...

I want a riders side pod...to match the drivers side...

Would you even be able to read what a gauge on the passenger side even reads? If anything, this would just be for the passenger to look at. In that case you should just put scrolling scripts from the bible so that your passenger can pray while you haul ass.

I dont even think you would be able to see them and if you could, it would take your eyes away from the road for too long of a time. Unless you just want them for the purpose of looks then it would be ok i guess. It would just remind me of those suv's and trucks that have tv screens facing out of the back window. You have them but you cant see them.

By the way i see that your subwoofer must feel really safe!:D

Aha we were thinkin alike...You just beat me to it!:D

no way Prof... the drivers side must remain the "control" center ... :p
if you put that on the passenger side you must also install a dummy steering wheel.... hahaahahahahaha ... no, what can on right side is a co-pilot cluster as a miles counter , chronometer etc... ;) as we have all in one : the tripmaster
( TERRATRIP) you see on the right side ) .......

I was thinking a weather station...maybe outside temp, inside temp and outside humidity. Then the pods would look similar from the front.

ok. buy a 3 pillar gauge pod that is for the Driver side then you can cut the gauges off from the 3 pod one....

then you can cut it to fit how ever you want with the Passanger side a pillar

then once you have it angled to were you can see it from the driver side you can the mold/ panel bond it in place

then you can smooth out the texture and paint it to match the truck
would be a nice custom touch IMO

comprende?

Some real creative and out of the box thinking here!
