Rod Bolts, Does the V10 come wit ARP's?

Just wondering if these motors come from the factory with ARP's? Mine has ARP 2000s in it. I know someone has been inside this engine before me, because it had Cometic head gaskets on it.

Yes to the ARP 2000 in 2005

Were they black-colored head gaskets?

If they were black, multi-layered head gaskets, you were the first to pull the heads.
EARLY in 2005 (?), head gaskets were superseded by a thinner, flat-gold colored multi-layered head gasket.

Yes, they were black multi layer (about 4). So those were OEM? That's good to know. I was going to replace them with Fel-Pro, they OK?

I've always used the mopar ones from the dealer.

The mopar ones will raise your compression ratio by approximately point 4

If you are looking at these engines in the future, you can easily see the black gaskets along the lower edge of the heads. So if someone tells you it has been completely rebuilt (or whatever), if the gaskets are black, you know something isn't quite right.
