I have not go my parts, and more importantly my instructions, but I am tearing apart my truck this weekend to prepare. I have a problem. The drivers side fuel rail, hose towards the back. Appears to require a special took to remove??
Do yourself a favor. Cover all those openings. You do not want any foriegn material falling into the engine. Some people use a clean rag, others use tape and tape over the opening. In either case use something.
94rt10ohio, I wanted to know if you were planning on selling the intake manifold before anyone else asked?
Yes, I do plan on selling it once I have it all together and running correctly. PM me so I have a reminder that you are interested. Will also be selling the stock airbox and a drop in K&N with 2K on it.
Few more parts out. Just read the instrucions on the install. Guess I have to pull the radiator yet Anyone have a service manual that can confirm ignition wire placement on the coils? I documented as I took them off but wanted a confirmation. Back of engine 2 4 6 3 7 1 5 9 10 8
Just for reference...Sean did not completely remove the radiator or oil cooler when installing mine. He partially disconnected them and pulled them to the sides of the engine...just in case you want to save a little time...pics attached:
Got my stuff Friday. Worked on it for a few hours today. Crank pins are in. Meth pump mounted, wires ran and all hooked up with expection of light and VEC end. SC bracket on 172 Stat in Front of truck all back together  One problem though..... I lost one of the rentaining clips that go on the quick connect power steering coolant lines. Went to the dealer and they say you have to buy the entire hose to get the clip. Not my normal dealer, did not trust that answer. Anyone else run into this? I will go to my normal dealer Monday and worst case call Roe for some ideas.
I am lazy, I want to lower the truck and do not want to put it back up on stands again. You need to get under it to hook up all the power steering crap. I am about 6'2" so I can reach in without issue when it is not sitting on stands Of course if I can not find a solution to this clip issue Monday I will have to jack it back up later. The only reason the front came out is due to those crank pins, but I also took advatage of it to put the meth pump in. If the front would have been in you have to remove the driver side wheel well to install the pump. So far the most difficult thing was drilling for those crank pins, that is some hard steel down there!
Congrats on your new addition...Thanks for posting pics...Gives me idea... Probably would not attempt myself but...Really thinking about ROE...
It is done. Was harder than I thought, much more wiring, and those crank pins were a surprise. If you have some mechanical ability you can do this, just take your time!! I have yet to start it, letting it sit over night to let the silicone dry. I have primed the fuel, no leaks there
