what kind of numbers did you end up with? ive been debating on getting the 10lb pully thats why i want to know the numbers.

I have similar mods to you. The tuner that did my truck worked with Sean to develop the tunes for Roe's SC. He also helped SCT develop the tuner for the Vipers....I got 625 RWHP with the 10LB pulley....this is a 93 octane tune that is conservative. He told me he could easily pull another 75HP by getting more aggressive with spark but talked me into staying lower for engine protection against things like bad gas, etc.

Expect the PP heads to rob some of the max PSI readings...the better flow of the PP heads will reduce PSI (mine maxed out at 9.3LBs)...this does not mean you wont see better power than non-PP heads.

do you have the meth kit?

You need to make sure you get the AFR, if he doesnt hook it up, then its no use.

Exactly. It is the AFR that Sean will interpret to make the changes at the appropriate rpm range...with some coordination with Sean...he can do this on the phone, while the engine cools a little, email the changes and then run an another dyno run.

I am running the Roe 10 lb pulley, Sean installed it when he tuned the engine in the fall. We are only getting 8 lbs of boost, due to some extensive head work performed by my engine builder (that's a good thing in my mind). I am clocking 685 at the rear wheels...I have no need or desire to get those extra two pounds of boost.

For specialty tuning, especially in a forced induction app, you are REALLY relying on the expertise of the tuner you choose to keep your engine alive. The tuner is at a disadvantage here if he isn't WITH the vehicle, so he will likely send you a safe tune, factoring in various real world conditions the engine may encounter.

Tuning by ear is critical to the lives of these engines. Prof mentioned when Sean was on board, he was able to adjust the timing (and/or fuel tables) when he heard Roy's engine ping.

If a tuner were to push the tune too far and ruin an engine for the sake of some extra horsepower, he wouldn't build himself a great rep.

Something like this can help you keep your engine alive when you don't have your tuner nearby or if you can't hear an engine ping anymore (like me).

as soon as I get it dynoed I will let you all know. I stayed stock on head work and cam I believe I am the only one who didnt port or polish anything or change my cam so we shall see. But I am thinking about stinkers pulley for the future with he 10lb. but again I am only running the 10lb and nos at the track and 6lb and meth for daily driver.:burnout: :marchmellow:
