the Novi's problem is all the holes in those engines are to big there is no resistance and no pressure. so they need more flow or cfm.

the necked down engines will build lots of pressure but at a certain amount they loose efficiency and quite building hp................

I am a pipefitter by trade, so I am aware of the reltionship between pressure and volume. That is my point. The built engines have taken all the volume a novi can provide, and it made 650ish. To build pressure at this point will require more volume. To make more power will require more volume. That is why I am no longer sold on the idea that a Paxton will make that much power. Certainly it will make solid power (650-700ish) as has been done on numerous trucks.
 
My nikes smell really really bad.
