Roz in Panama City Beach: Sept 5th - 9th

dont know of any charters that are good. my pops and brother both have boats so ive always went with them. i can check into it if your interested. i know i wouldnt waste my money on those party boats. you wont catch anything big and if you do they will pull off of it and call there friends or family with commercial boats. with the limits in the gulf like they are now its almost not worth going for the fish you can keep.

Where abouts do you stay?

My parent's booked a place at Top of the Gulf. . . It was one of the less expensive places, is it worth a shit? :dontknow:

It's right near that Club La Vela and Spinnaker's, I hope it isn't over-run with kids. We all figured we wouldn't be spending much time in the room anyways. :D :rock:
 
it should be fine. not bad with kids until spring break. spinnaker and la vela are the joints all the young un's hang out at. i havent been there since i was 17. we arent far from there. we've got a condo right at the entrance to st andrew's park. probably a mile east of there on thomas dr. i had a friend stay there a couple of years ago during spring break. said he had more fun watching all the drunk kids fight all weekend. that weekend should be fine. labor day is a bad time to go if you dont like crowds. the weekend after shouldnt be as bad. if yall like good seafood we ought to go to capt andersons saturday night then hit schooners afterwards and listen to the bad for a bit.

Smoke, and EMT/SRT, you guys still on board? The new dude (Fepony) and Stick/Sis and Mopower1958 should chime in. Maybe I'll send em a PM.

For whatever reason, Corteney didn't like Capt. Anderson's last time she ate there . . :dontknow: She's not one for seafood either though . . . How about we can spend the entire time at Schooner's? Open air, beach, beer, live music, that sounds like a blast to me!

No time set in stone yet, the definate date is the afternoon/evening 8th. As of late, the "plan" is to meet at Schooner's for some food, drinks, and some live music.

I'll be down there from the evening of the 5th to the afternoon of the 9th. I still don't know if I am driving the truck or not. . . The GTG would be my only reason for driving it. . . :D
 
me and the wife are in, we are headed down that friday afternoon till sunday afternoon.

sincerely regret to inform you guys that i have to work a 24! shortage of EMT's and Medics around here! sorry ROZ. i was looking forward to the gtg and there is a cruise and car show starting at 2 pm at Panama City Toyota that ends up at Breakaway Dragway. you guys should join them. it's for a charity event!

Ouch! A 24 eh? Don't work to hard, and I'll drink a few for you. :rock:

That car-show and cruise sounds like a blast, but I'm not totally sure I'll have the truck with me, and this is a vacation with kin-folk, I'm gonna pass on that one. I'm gonna keep my fat-ass on the beach as long as possible! :D
