The town Murphy and Valero are only pumping Regular. Out of Mid and Premium. My local mom & pop only has diesel. I was able to get Premium at a different station at a higher price than other stations are getting. Put $99 bucks in yesterday. What has everyone else been seeing? Any stations out of certain grades or out of gas all together?

Still putting $120.00 in gas in the work van every 3 days. Glad I dont pay the bill.

A week ago I couldnt find any 87 octane for the wife's Durango.....today I drove around trying to find 93 for my truck and found none within 10 miles of my home...WTF is going on here?............ended up buying a few gallons of 110 octane racing fuel at $4.99 per gallon and flashing in the 100 octane tune from my SCT...:dontknow:

It is called kick em while their down.

They were out of all gas around here last week but havent seen any gouging or shortages in the past 3-4 days.

No shortage here

Sorry

No problems here. Around $3.65 for the cheap stuff... $3.85 for 93. Sounds like it's just a Carolina thing:dontknow: Hope it gets better soon

People aren't going crazy or anything. Just don't understand why places aren't getting deliveries of mid and prem around here. I filled up the bike Sat. morning with prem at Valero but Sun they are out. :dontknow:

Murphy has only had reg. for four or five days. Just noticed this evening our local place has plastic bags over all their gas nozzles and the gas price sign isn't lit. So the shortage isn't franchise specific. It just seems we aren't getting deliveries here for some reason. Glad to hear it's not everywhere.

Really odd how this is going....2 weeks ago we had a panic run on gas which drained local supplies and drove the price up 30+ cents in hours....now there are many stations here that have not had any gas in over 10 days but prices on what gas is available has fallen 25+cents in the last few days????:dontknow:

only regular here in Burlington and Raleigh also..... had to drive the wifes ford escape to the club both nights.....:(

Man, if the big city of Murphy is out of gas... I'd hate to see what it's like in Hayesville:D:p
Murphy gas stations that you find at a lot of Walmarts....silly.:p

I think it has to do with the availability and deliverability of NC's specific gas formulation. No problems just across the border in SC.
If they would just federalize the formulation, any state could get fuel from any refinery-and it would cost less. I'm usually not a fan of expanding the scope of the federal gov't in any way, but this just seems to make sense.

Only a few stations here have premium. The owner of the BP here in Concord said they would not deliver any silver or premium until everything settled down. What's stirred up ?who knows, but several other stations are out totally.

I live in Wilmington, NC near where alot of gas comes in for the area. Hess is main one on port. We have no shortages that I can see so maybe the gas will get to ya'll soon.

I just got power back! There is a shortage because most gas was diverted to the Texas coast, and now 25% of production is shut down... Bush lifted the 10% elthanol requirment so production should be coming back quick now...
