He just told you he couldnt go below $115,000 why offer 80k thats just plain bullshittin the man.

after not contacting him for a few days he sent this:


Hi Josh, we had some upper management changes in the
last few days. The new G M and I have worked together for
some time. His main goal is to reduce inventory!! I think if
you would offer him $100,000 and put a deposit on the 40C
Tradewinds I have a good chance at talking him into it. Let
