About a year ago, I once took the term "rice" pejoratively and promptly made inquiries about it.

The response (and I do NOT have the exact quote) was that rice (or more specifially a "ricer") wasn't merely a Japanese import (such as my Z) but (in specific fact) a 4banger POS with an equally funky huge-assed wing, all manner of racing banners/stickers/graphics, a set of wheels that cost 10 times the value of the car, an excruciatingly loud fart-can muffler...etc.....etc....etc.

This response seemed to suggest that the term "ricer" pertains solely to the aformentioned description and NOT to more expensive Japanese imports with 6 cylinders such as Soops, Z's etc.....

Has Scott erred in referring (to) this S2000 (especially since it'll wipe any of our asses at 9+ secs) as "rice".............I'm not certain whether to take umbrage or consider Scott's statement to be a simple stereotypical faux pau.....

So, which is it.....:dontknow:

I said that I was not a big fan of "rice" power, my definition is any imported Japanese car whether that be a 4, 6, or even 8 cylinders... but yes.. its mostly associated with those big winged, stickered up, fart cans cars.....

I did say that this one was impressive... as its a diamond in the ruff... generally you dont see them with over $100 grand in the motor....you throw that kind of smack at any engine/car, and it will perform... no matter where it originated from...

But I bet if you drop $100k into one of our trucks, and turn it into a total race car we will kick its arse....
