Well the results are in and the Bad news first... I went one run too many and FRIED the Clutch, so I will be stuck in Sacramento for a few days! All I can say is the new M&H's really HOOK! I made five runs today and YES there is a new NA record for the timeslip section. The first run today I think there was a problem with the clocks because it posted my 1/4 mile speed @ 97.607 MPH and I know I was doing over 112 .
Wifey you'll be glad to know there were NO missed shifts today. Here are the results...Run 1: 60'=1.795(launch @2500, no spin), 1/8 mile=7.864 @ 88.201, 1/4 mile=12.314 @ 97.607 (yeah! new ET record):) :)
Run #2 : 60'=1.873 (launch @ 2800, no spin), 1/8 mile=7.966@ 88.766, 1/4 mile= 12.357 @ 112.809.not bad but no record.
Run #3 : 60' 1.816 (launch @ 3000, no spin), 1/8 mile=7.870 @ 88.493, 1/4 mile = 12.246 @ 112.338 ( another new record).:) :)
Run # 4 : 60' = 1.650 (Holy Shit!, launch @ 3500, NO SPIN) , 1/8 mile = 7.656 @ 88.681, 1/4 mile = 12.024 @ 112.588 ( Now thats the record!!!!)
Run # 5 : 60' = 1.849 ( launch @ 3800...Do I smell burning clutch...YEP)
1/8 mile = 7.933 @ 87.845, 1/4 mile = 12.328 @ 112.158.
I made it about 15 miles from the strip before the clutch gave out completely...call AAA. Anyway I am pleased with the new tires and now I will need a new clutch...I'm thinking a twin disc...Anybody with a suggestion.

M&H 390-40-17 Drag Radial ( the new design, not the same as the old) and Centerforce clutch.

Trainman do you have any info on the new DR from M & H? I went to their website and couldn't find anything new.
