Nice Pics Roy!!

1. That is the Timing Advance indicator.

2. That dashboard push button tranny, was a Hydromatic. (?)

How'd I do?

How would I know, I'm not old! We need FstJack or Silverback to respond.

VERY cool stuff, Roy!

....... and I knew all of those, by the way. :D ..... Even the "quick-change". ;) But, then again.... I'm an old fart trapped in a young (fat) body. :D :eek:

Sorry, you only got 50%. The push button tranny was a TorqueFlite.

The Hydromatic was a GM tranny.

How about the "meats" on that yellow nova?

Interesting to know what kind of tires those are.... But, really, I never like the "Pro-Street" cars. :eek: I've seen too many GREAT cars that have been CHOPPED up by some guy to make one. :mad: It's a damn shame, IMO. :confused: :(

Actually they had both, Torqueflite and PowerFlite!
For 1960, Chrysler standardized the buttons - R-N-D-2-1 on the Torqueflite and R-N-D-L on the Powerflite.

And I should have known that wasn't a GM:dontknow::banghead:

Awesome pics, looked like some really great cars there. Never seen a picture of a push button auto. Thanks for the education....I bet those things were the "cat's meow" back in the day.
