Does anyone have any idea if the screamin demon coils in crease the intensity of the spark or do they ensure that you have the same strength spark at the higher rpms as you do down low? The only reason i ask is because I was told to run colder spark plugs do to the twin turbo set up to help prevent detonation and am wondering if im nullifying the purpose of using the colder plugs by running the coils

No you still need the stronger spark especially since your gonna run colder plugs. BuT FYI i belive the same principal applies to s/c's. But im running 35 gap because of it being a daily driver. you go too cold and you will have a bad hesitation at idle and when you romp on it. If your gonna go a little hotter just make sure your running 93 and above octane and you should be good and tune of course. But hotter constant spark is always wanted;)

The truck was tuned not too long ago and I always run 93 no matter what. Mine is somewhat a daily driver when its running! lol! Maybe thats why my idleing is rough rt now cause its too cold of a spark. Should i use the same gap as you

yeah you should have no problem start out at 35 and go from there. Its all about what you like, but yeah go back to 35 and try that. How many lbs are you running?

like the folks said that checked out the stockers for Stinker & the dyno runs.

makes constant/smooth power to red line instead of fallin off 2/3's up:burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

the dyno reports are in Stinker"s coil section:burnout:

Im running between 10 and 11 lbs rt now but have the capability to go 18

I'm running colder ngk's with Stinker's coils. All good.

Hows your truck running? You have the sc on rt?! We need to hook up. You were out at the races on the weekend that they had the all day long event rt?

I am running Stinky's coils with 2 step colder plugs gapped at .045.....truck is running strong all the way to 6K+ RPM....Not for sure how many miles since installing the coils but at least 2500....

Trucks running good. Yeah I was out there. My son's band was hired to play there, so I took advantage of it and ran a couple of times. You were there? I'm planning on going out in a couple of weeks. I think that I still have ur number, I'll call u when I'm going.
